The small-scale conversion by Jean Boreux of a few bedrooms in the farmhouse, has now grown to 60 bedrooms in half a dozen buildings near the heart of village of Rochehaut with its listed church.

So there are plenty of rooms, with 6 levels of comfort:

Specialities

A prime rib from the family’s Limousin herd, a salmon-trout from the nearby Chabotais fish farm, a few slices of delectable home-cured smoked ham from free-range pigs, a haunch of venison from the surrounding forests…

Michel Boreux and his team have a genuine love of good food.

Around 40,000 bottles of wine are maturing in the coolness of the cellar, and the cave has become the place to enjoy an apéritif or round off a meal with a glass of an excellent vintage.
