Description

In 2000 Angélique and Wim Philips-Maqua displayed their taste and passion in the renovation of “La Ferronnière”, a character house overlooking the Semois river and the town of Godefroid, opposite the Château de Bouillon.

They transformed it into a 7-bedroom hotel with a family-style restaurant seating 30 people to make each guest feel at home here.

Each bedroom offers guests comfortable furnishing and distinctive decor. The proprietors of the premises have skilfully preserved all the charm and tranquillity of the opulent interior of this impressive building.

Having earned his stripes in the best dining establishments in the country , Wim Philips offers a cuisine that's always modern and sometimes surprising. He ventures bold combinations of dishes and wines ,selecting from the French as well as Italian vintages that nestle in the shadowy half-light of a cellar that provides the ideal conditions for their maturation.
